In Snowflakes Fall, Newbery Medalist Patricia MacLachlan and award-winning artist Steven Kellogg portray life’s natural cycle: its beauty, its joy, and its sorrow.

This is the first picture book I designed at Random House and it certainly is special and unique. You can learn more about it by watching the trailer and interviews here

I had the honor of meeting Patricia and Steven. Both are amazing, warm, kind, and extremely talented people. Working closely with Steven on the design and layout of the book will forever be a cherished memory and experience.

Snowflakes Fall is starting to gain momentum, and has already debuted at #9 on the New York Times Bestseller List.

Last, but not least, the book also garnered a review by Roger Sutton, editor-in-chief of the Horn Book, where he highlighted the layout design by saying, "the text of the poem is arranged imaginatively within Kellogg's dancing paintings of frolicking children and skies of snow."
